I’m getting ready to go here I leave Colorado Wednesday and should be there by Thursday evening. I have done this twice before through Medicaid and this time I have decent insurance. Does anyone on here have any advice or details about the detoxification part if so please message me
I'm 67 days sober today thanks to this place. If your on drugs you need to get here!! They can help you!! it's beautiful!! It really is a five star rehab I HIGHLY HIGHLY RECOMMEND KIM AND DARRELL as case manager and therapist!! I've been home a month exactly and when faced with certain situations I STILL hear Kims voice as guidance. That woman works SO hard and CARES so much. I've never seen anything like it. it really helped me a lot an I'm very thankful.
Wow! This place was absolutely amazing, I completed treatment in 31 days. The staff is amazing, The homes are beautiful the food was great. I would recommend this place to anyone seeking treatment. They treat you with upmost respect. This place allows you to live like a normal person while giving you hours of therapy. I will continue using all the tools they gave me outside of treatment. Thank you monarch shores for everything I'm very grateful to be sober!
Awesome!! The staff and accommodations were amazing. I was there in 2017 for Prescription Opioid Addiction after two Spine Fusion Operations. Did a 10 day inpatient detox program. The care was outstanding at Monarch Shores. Constant monitoring and awesome meals. Chef prepared daily. Months after my treatment, I’ve been contacted by staff just to say, How are you doing? Incredible. Please don’t hesitate to get help. They really care about the welfare of the patients.
My experience with monarch shores was nothing short of life altering. The entire program as a whole was centered around compassion and sincerity when it came to the root causes of what brought me here in the first place. The staff, clinical personnel, and the community within this place was an exceptional venue from which to grow as a human being and definitely was effective in being the guiding hand I needed in this turbulent period in my life. In short, if you’re tuly seeking to change yourself in addition to changing your life I recommend this program wholeheartedly.
My son is currently at Monarch Shores in California. My son has been in treatment before, but it was nothing compared to this place. Not only do they provide a beautiful resort for people looking for help with detoxing, to help overcome the affects of addiction, and a rehabilitation center to teach them how to live a happy, healthy, successful life, without drugs, but they also work on the mental health aspect of it all. A dual diagnosis center is the way to go, because not only are they capable of working on the addiction its self, but they go one step further and work on the underlying issues that lead them to the addiction in the first place. The people working for this organization are wonderful, especially Rebecca. She went out of her way to help my son. She just told him to give it a shot, and that he had nothing to lose at this point, and everything to gain, and that with the help he would receive there, that he could get his life back and may even meet a new him he never knew existed. Rebecca is encouraging, compassionate, respectful and understanding. I can't say enough on how she goes above and beyond to help someone in need, and I want her to know how much she is appreciated, because I'm sure that she isn't told nearly enough. Thank you for taking those extra steps to help my son get his life back. You and the organization you work for are truly my heroes. I can't even begin to image how much you do every day in this Opioid epidemic that is killing our future generation! So with that, God Bless all of you that work so hard everyday! Sincerely, Sheila Worden
The program itself is fantastic, the food is good, clinical team is great, I felt the staff truly cared about me and my needs. While nothing is perfect..let's be honest, it's rehab, if I am going to spend time away from my wife and kids all while facing my demons, this rehab is the only place I would recommend going. I had my phone the whole time, I was close to the beach, got to go to the gym and get back in good physical condition and on the weekends we did some pretty cool outings. I am very thankful for my sobriety and new life, I couldn't have done it without the help of Monarch, I hope this was my last go around! Double thumbs up.... only con... not crazy about the phasing system, it was just ok, would have preferred to stay in the house I started off in...that would be my only complaint.
I definitely recommend this place...saved my life, I learned a lot and everyone that works there is wonderful!
I love Monarch! Everyone there is so nice and friendly. I was so nervous to go to rehab I had never done anything like this before, my cousin called and got everything set up for me because I was terrified to leave home and face my reality. As soon as I arrived I was catered to and made to feel special. I would recommend this place to anyone who struggles with being an addict. I learned a lot about myself and left there with so many tools to help me stay sober. It was definitely a bonus having my cell phone with me and getting to go to the gym and the beach, I got back to my old self! Hopefully I don't relapse but if I do I will be coming back here for sure!
If your looking for Drug/Alcohol Treatment this is the company that specializes in your recovery! For a life changing experience and to learn life coping skills this is the place to turn!
Monarch Shores is a fantastic program. I came to Monarch with huge concerns. I was worried about my job, my home life, my academic career. But most importantly, I came in with a lot of guilt and shame of what I had done over my years of drinking and using. The admissions team was fantastic, they were able to get me in immediately. Once I got there, I was in a beautiful home in Orange County, CA. I was allowed to keep my cell phone and laptop so I could keep up with my school work. The clinical team was great. My problems were so much bigger than my drinking and using. They helped me to identify those problems and work through them, instead of continuing to run from them. I am happy to say I am still sober. I would recommend Monarch to anyone who is ready and willing to change their life. I have been to multiple treatment centers - it can be what you make of it, and they are going to have rules no matter what. People who say horrible things about this place are usually bitter. They are often people who didn't follow the rules, didn't want to get help and be sober, using on the property, acting childish and didn't get their way, etc. I owe my life to this program. Thank you Monarch!
I learned so much from this program! Not a lot of the people in the program like the previous one I went to in Florida, The Watershed, so you get a lot of individualized care, there were only 6 of us. The staff is so friendly and always there for you. The home itself is really nice and clean. I know I need to work the program in order for it to stick, but this program gives you a really good core foundation and all the tools to apply to your sobriety. I would highly recommend this place to anyone looking to overcome your addiction.
This place changed my brother's life. From the first call they were so warm and friendly, they seemed to care more than any other place I had called for him. Everyone is so friendly, professional and the home was absolutely beautiful. The holistic approach is what really worked for him... they did a really comfortable and safe detox. This place made him feel safe and like he was really cared for. I think when looking for a rehab that is really important. He has 8 months sober and is going strong. I can't thank Monarch Shores enough. I would give this place 10 stars if I could!
This place was a wonderful experience, the therapy provided was second to none. I was always iffy going to a place like this, but within the second phone call I felt very comfortable. It was welcoming, even though I hadn't been there yet.. I told myself I'd only go to get detoxed.. the only opportunity Id give myself. I ended up staying and completing a 30 day program. I would never know until I gave it a shot. I didn't think there was actually a program where I could still live like a normal person, but be able to finally pick apart what kept bringing me back to this dark place in life. I couldn't be more thankful for everything they did for me, the staff was awesome, very nice people. Still sober to this day!! Thank you
Thank you, thank you, thank you! My husband has been sober for almost 6 months now. We owe it all to Monarch Shores for being so compassionate and really working with Chris through his depression and alcoholism. I can honestly say our marriage is back on track and things are headed in a positive direction. I have renewed hope. Thanks again Monarch Shores!
I sent my daughter to this facility because she was struggling with meth and heroin... what a god send. Not only did she get clean but she enjoyed her time here. She was able to have her cell phone and lap top so communication with us was very easy. She loves yoga and meditation and this place offered a holistic approach that made her feel at peace! She got help with her mental illnesses and feels so confidant today. I owe my life to this place and the friendly staff that really takes time to care about their patients. I highly recommend this place to a friend or loved one if they are struggling with addiction. From the first call to the discharge everything was so easy and hassle free!
This company is amazing, they really make the extra effort to go above and beyond for the clients. The technicians are there to help, especially when you reach out to them. The staff is knowledgeable and I like how clean the place is.
My daughter has been there just about 2 weeks. I know that her sobriety is up to how much she puts into the program. I can however, speak for the service I have received so far. Admissions lady by the name of Lori Katrencik has spoken to me many times to ease my mind. She arranged the trip for our daughter from KY to CA. She has made herself available to me from day 1. I have also spoken to other staff as well, and I have been well pleased with the attention they have given to my concerns. I appreciate the time that has been given to assist us with this journey. Thanks
