Working with GRR as a client I've found a new meaning in what it is to truly care about your guests. Owners Lori and Larry do everything they can, along with their professional and caring staff, to assist in getting those with addictions back on their path to recovery and success.

Get Real Recovery is a great program. All of the staff truly cares for you, and does not judge the things you have been through or actively are going through. They understand you still make mistakes even in sobriety, and will help you work through them without passing judgement. They help you in any ways they can. The sober living is wonderful, everyone is very supportive of one another, and the house managers do not tolerate drama or talking behind people’s back. The house managers will hold you accountable but, also help you through any parts of your life you need help in. I have never been to such a great program and sober living. I would recommend this program to anyone who truly wants to change their life.

I truly believe in Get Real Recovery! I have had the pleasure on witnessing countless clients endure a holistic change from admission to graduation. The staff at Get Real are passionate about what they do and it shows with their results! The personal care and attention Get Real offers to their clients is remarkable. I will continue to refer my family and friends to Get Real who may be struggling with substance abuse.

I came out from New York to get help for my alcoholism and drug addiction. As a former drug and alcohol counselor and sober companion I am familiar with the industry. I have seen and heard of so many rehabilitation centers that are in business for all the wrong reasons. I ended up at Get Real recovery after calling a trusted friend who i has worked with in the past. When I was working in the industry myself. I told him I needed real help and a solid program. Get Real is where he sent me. It is a great program and I don’t say that lightly. The staff is knowledgeable about the recovery process. They all come from a background of experience as well. The place is intimate and you can receive as much out of this program as you want to put into it. They are selective on who their clients are. If you aren’t serious about getting help they won’t let you into the program. Or they will weed you out quickly. So you are not distracted by others in program who aren’t serious. The staff in the outpatient are just as good. Larry and Lori, the owners, are in this business to help. They are available to adresss any need you may have. They are concerned about your recovery on a personal level. I have to say I got so much from this program and came into it thinking it would probably just be another program.

I just got done reading Jared's review and this guy couldn't be further from the truth! Get Real Recovery is a wonderful place to get sober, stay sober and learn about yourself. Before checking myself into Get Real I was lost and really didn't know what to do with my life. I have 3 beautiful children I have/had a wonderful and beautiful wife. I was into my addiction off and on the last year of my marriage and my wife decided it was time to call it quits after giving me numerous chances. After this my life spiraled out of control... missing work all of the time, not seeing my kids and just got super heavy into my addiction. After a few months of this I was told I couldn't see my kids anymore and for me this was rock bottom because my kids are my world. I decided to check myself into Get Real, I was very nervous and very anxious but as soon as I got there I was welcomed with open arms and open hearts. I really felt like I was home, I settled down right away. So fast forward 3 months... I'm still in the program and still being treated the same way as day one. Over the past 3 months I have learned more about myself and how to deal and cope with issues and problems in my life than I have in the past 31 years. I can honestly say that today I feel the best I have felt both mentally and physically than I have in my entire life. I haven't seen my kids and that isn't fun but doing this is making me the best person and best father I can be and I think that is pretty great. I want to say thank you to Larry, Laurie and the entire Get Real staff for saving my life. I have the utmost respect and gratitude for all of you. And as for Jared... you really need to work on yourself and ALLLLL of your problems (sounds like you have alot) and quit blaming everyone and everything for the way that you are. PLEASE GET HELP DUDE!!

Unfortunately I have a court situation. I will tell you that the 2 weeks I spent with the crew was the most enlightening I have had to date with 12 years of addiction. Unfortunately the PO does not feel a person needs to go out of state for the best help they can find. So my question is that if one of her loved ones needed the Mayo Clinic or Sloan Kettering...Would they not go? ........they wouldn't go? I just want to save their life as well as save my own! They offer a wide variety of therapy that is individualized to each person. Phenomenal program, great staff and beautiful location!

The owner Larry Smith was a 747 pilot. A precise guy - knows how to make things work efficiently. His wife Lori so passionate knowing recovery can be done. No nonsense program. As a fellow treatment professional, I respect their work. Running a tight ship. Now JCAHO accredited (which takes a lot of serious work to achieve) Means they keep all of their ducks in a row.

I went through get real and it was truly a life changing experience. From the groups to the clients to the staff it was all so great. The staff truly understand what your going through and whole heartedly want to help, they treat you with the utmost respect. I couldn't have asked for a program that cared so much for their clients even after they graduate the program. Before i went to get real i had nothing i was a homeless junkie going nowhere leading a miserable life. After getting the help i needed from get real i know have a job and my family life is better than i ever thought it could be, but most importantly get real helped me find out who i really was. I owe this program my life.
